Abstract

【課題】銅−珪素合金を含有する合金層を介して負極集電体と負極リードとが接続された珪素系負極を用いた捲回型電極群を備えた非水電解質二次電池において、負極リードの珪素系負極からの部分剥離や破断を抑制する。 【解決手段】帯状の負極10と帯状の正極11との間に帯状のセパレータ12を介在させた積層体を略円筒型に捲回した捲回型電極群2と、非水電解質とを備え、捲回型電極群2の半径が3mm以上であり、負極10が、集電体と、集電体表面に被着された珪素系活物質からなる活物質層と、銅−珪素合金を含む合金層20を介して集電体に接続された短冊状のリード17と、を備え、リード17は捲回型電極群2の中心から半径3mm以上の捲回周に接続されており、短辺幅1mmあたりの引張力が3N〜50Nである銅箔又は銅合金箔からなる、非水電解質二次電池。 【選択図】図1
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a partial separation or rupture of an anode lead from a silicon based anode in a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which includes a wound electrode group using the silicon based anode consisting of an anode current collector and an anode lead which are connected via an alloy layer containing a copper-silicon alloy.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery includes a wound electrode group 2 formed by winding in substantially cylindrical form a laminate of a belt-like anode 10 and a belt-like cathode 11 with a belt-like separator 12 interposed between the two and a nonaqueous electrolyte. The wound electrode group 2 is 3 mm or more in radius, and the anode 10 includes a current collector, an active material layer comprised of a silicon based active material stuck to the surface of the current collector, and a strip-shaped lead 17 connected to the current collector via an alloy layer 20 containing a copper-silicon alloy, in which configuration the lead 17 is connected to a wound periphery in radius of 3 mm or more from the center of the wound electrode group 2 and comprised of a copper foil or a copper alloy foil whose tensile strength per 1 mm in short side width is 3 N to 50 N.
